Chicago Temple Represents The Salvation Army in the 86th Annual Bud Billiken Day Parade

The Salvation Army will participate in the 86th Bud Billiken Day Parade, an annual celebration produced by Chicago Defender Charities, Inc. to provide underprivileged children with the chance to be in the limelight. It is also a great reminder for Chicago students that it’s back to school time!

The Chicago Temple Corps will be representing The Salvation Army in the parade this year, so be on the lookout!

Date: Saturday, August 8, 2015
Time: 10AM – 3PM

Start point:
King Drive at Oakwood Blvd.

King Drive south from Oakwood Boulevard to 51st Street.
Ellsworth Drive (in Washington Park) from 51st Street to Garfield Boulevard (55th St.).

End point:
Garfield Blvd. (55th St.) and Ellsworth Dr.
